  • What will my child be doing?

All sessions will start off with fitness/warm-up sessions, followed by pad work and jiu jitsu grappling.

  • What ages do you teach?

The ages we coach and teach from are 6-10 years.

  • What must my child bring to the session?

Your child must bring a water bottle with them. If your child has any medical needs i.e. asthma, they must bring their inhaler with them otherwise they will not be able to join the session. Please notify the group admin of any other medical/allergy needs that we have not already been made aware of via registration.

  • What does my child need to wear?

Appropriate and comfortable sports clothing. Tracksuit/jogging bottoms with a t-shirt will suffice. Shoes will need to be removed as training will be done on mats. Students may train with or without socks.

  • What time should I arrive at the venue?

We request all parents dropping their children off to only arrive 5 minutes before the session start time. This is to avoid unnecessary congestion.

  • Where do I park?

The venue has its own car park, for which a permit will be provided free of charge on the first class.

  • How can I inform absence of my child or lateness?

Please send a message to the WhatsApp group with your child’s name, age and a short reason.

  • Can parents come and watch for the duration of each session?

We will allow parents to watch the first session only. The children will be more likely to be more participative and less distracted without their parent/guardians watching from the sidelines.

  • Pick up and travel arrangements

The sessions will finish between 11:45am-12pm each week. Parents are expected to arrive promptly for 11:45am, at which the children will be escorted to the main entrance of the gym. Parents will need to collect their children from the main entrance.

  • How are we notified of any cancellations?

Please check the WhatsApp group for the latest information.
