Muslim organisations and mosques across the UK open their doors to invite people from all walks of life, of all faiths and none, to taste Ramadan; to share food and share friendship.
Every year Wycombe Mosque participate in Taste Ramadan and invite people from various faiths to share their evening Iftar together. The Iftar is the meal eaten by Muslims at sunset following a day of abstaining from food and drink from dawn. The purpose of Taste of Ramadan is to share moments of Ramadan together and to pass on some true knowledge about the Islam.
To experience some of the blessings of Ramadan, we invite non-Muslim community to join us for the breaking of the Ramadan Fast and the evening meal.
