Join us for a communal dinner at the oldest and largest mosque in High Wycombe!
Dear Neighbours and Friends,
We hope that this message reaches you in the best of health & happiness.
Ramadan is an auspicious time for Muslims; wherein we reflect and contemplate on the relationship we have with God Almighty. We would therefore like to cordially invite you, our fellow neighbours from all faiths or none, to join us for a breaking of the fast meal at the oldest and largest mosque in High Wycombe, which serves the vast majority of the Muslim community residents in the town.
We would be honoured if you would accept our invitation to open the fast with us and in essence 'Taste Ramadan' by partaking in a delicious meal at our premises, on Sunday, 24th March starting at 5:20pm. We appreciate that you may not be fasting on that day, but we would be honoured to share food and friendship with you.
The event will comprise of a:
- meet and greet
- singing performance of Muslim spiritual poetry and hymns in a variety of languages
- a short presentation with Q & A
- short tour of the oldest mosque in town
This will be followed by a meal and the opportunity for networking.
We shall be grateful if you could kindly confirm your participation by registering on this page and arrive on site for 5:15pm. This is so we can ensure you are seated and served in time for the breaking of the fast at 6.26pm.
We look forward to greeting you on Sunday, 24th March starting at 5:20pm.
Yours in good faith,
Wycombe Mosque
