Wycombe Mosque - Vaccination Clinic

A vaccination clinic was held at Jubilee Road Mosque on Sunday 14/03/21. The purpose of this clinic was to reach out to those who may have been offered the vaccine but have not taken up the offer, so that they may receive one in a more appealing community setting. We reached out to everyone, including those who are not registered at a surgery, refugees, vulnerable visitors, and non-registered people.

We also reached out to people that fall into the following categories:

  • Staff in care homes for elder adults
  • Health and social care worker
  • Clinically extremely vulnerable
  • 65 years or over
  • Adults under 65 years with long term conditions

The Vaccination Clinic held at Jubilee Road mosque was a huge success. The initiative was led by the Muslim community of High Wycombe and supported by Buckinghamshire Council, the NHS and the CCG.
